Weight: 128.6 lbs....could be better
Activities: Run 4.25 miles (longest non-race run since I started keeping track)
Food:
- 3/4 cup brown sugar oatmeal cereal
- Golden Oreo cakester-100 calorie pack
- 1 cup green salad
- 2.5 oz. salmon salad
- 1/2 Twix fun size bar
- 1 mini KitKat bar
- 3 miniature Snickers bars
- 12 french fries with ketchup
- two sips of F's beer
- 1 cup hummus w/ 5 cucumber slices, 4 baby carrots, warm pita and tortilla chips
Total calories: 1735
The hummus was 435 calories. Diet books would tell you to avoid hummus and other tips because they are high in calories. However, I did not have the hummus as a snack. It was the main part of my dinner. So I think it is okay? Anyone have any insight on this?
My dinner last night was at a bar while playing trivia. The bar was serving appetizers at half price. The other options were spinach/artichoke dip, buffalo wings, chicken tenders, five-layer dip, potato skins, chicken quesadilla, french fries, beef sliders, buffalo chicken sliders, reuben sliders, or chili nachos. I'd love to hear what other health conscious readers would have chosen.
